About

I started this blog as a means of composing my thoughts throughout the undoubtedly stressful but hopefully rewarding journey towards an MBA seat for the class of 2016. I am an applicant from the UK and currently work in an industry that does not send many people to study for MBAs.

  1. Hi Domotron,

Accepted.com runs an interview series (http://blog.accepted.com/tag/mba-applicant-bloggers/) with b-school applicants in which we feature your blog and talk about some of the successes and challenges you are facing (or have faced) in the MBA application experience. We’d love to feature you and your blog. Are you available to answer 6-7 questions via email? Can you please email me at sarahp@accepted.com? Thanks!

    Hi Domotron,

My name is Conrad and I am emailing on behalf of Stacy Blackman Consulting (http://www.stacyblackman.com), which is a leading MBA admissions consulting firm. I was asked by Stacy to reach out because we have enjoyed reading your blog.

I wanted to reach out to say that we are beginning our B-School Buzz Feature, where we highlight the top business school blog articles around the country. We are interested in selecting one of your articles to re-post on Stacyblackman.com. These articles will be posted on our blog, which receives tens of thousands of unique visitors every month, and will be broad-casted to our Facebook Page (5000+ fans) and our Twitter account. If we can ever be of any additional help, we would be happy to talk with you more.

If you are interested, can you please email conrad@stacyblackman.com.

Thanks for your time and energy.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Domotron,

You have been awarded a “Liebster Award” by me! Not sure if you have heard of it 🙂 but this is awarded to my top 10 favorite blogs. As with all good things, this award also comes with its own set of terms and conditions ( which are rather easy to follow). Please do read the details at http://thembastory.com/2013/09/07/omg-its-the-liebster-award/.
Would love to read your answers to my 10 questions.

    Thanks,
    thembastory

  5. Hi Domotron,

Congrats on the Tuck admit! It’s a great school and a solid brand.

There still some time before you start packing your bags. While you wait for the exciting journey to begin, would you be interested in receiving a complimentary copy of my book (Beyond The MBA Hype – International Edition) [http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J6ELEUG] in return for an honest review on your blog?

There are many perspectives about bschool life in the book that you might find useful.
